With a focus on increasing agricultural productivity, improving diets, and building greater resilience to challenges like climate change, Michigan State University (MSU) researchers work directly with farmers, policy makers, government entities, and researchers in partner institutions in Asia and around the globe to address some of the world's most pressing challenges in food and agriculture security.

Asia Hub Network

The Asia Hub Network creates opportunities for researchers from Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), Michigan State University, and 14 regional institutions to work together, primarily on the water, energy, and food nexus. 

Central Asia Platform

Central Asia Platform (CAP) innovates regional partnerships to leverage human, financial, and intellectual resources. Together the partners work closely to develop and apply the latest approaches and technologies to address emerging and pressing issues, with initial focus on water resources management, land degradation, and food security in Central Asia.

South Asia Partnership

The South Asia Partnership (SAP) is a platform for collaborative programs with public and private institutions in India and other countries. The MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) facilitates mutually beneficial collaborations in agricultural research, education, training, outreach, and capacity building based on long-standing partnerships.
